I took tap and modern jazz dance lessons throughout my grade school and high school years.  I have always loved to dance. 

At age 42, while attending the Illinois State Fair with my husband, I saw the IPCA clogging performance.  I told my husband, "I don't know where the nearest clogging group is, but I am going to join it". 

I contacted the Springfield group a month later and have been dancing ever since. (13 years) 

We then moved to Southern Illinois and I helped start up a brand new clogging group in that area, the Thunder and Lightning Cloggers.

I also took an active part in the Illinois Prairie Clogging Association, having served as its President for a number of years and am now its Treasurer.
